<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for measuring tire size capable of correctly and surely measuring tire width and a tire outer diameter, in size measurement of a tire. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for measuring tire size, a tire T is rim-assembled, measurement means 41 are each made to scan, along a tire radius direction, a range from a tire tread to a bead on a tire side face in a period the tire T makes one turn while relatively rotating the tire T with internal pressure applied thereto and the measurement means 41 arranged oppositely to each other in the width direction of the tire T, and the tire width size is measured based on a displacement amount of a distance from the measurement means to the tire side face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
