<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, in a conventional nozzle for a liquid rocket engine, the man-hour or cost of manufacturing is high for a nozzle requiring regeneration cooling or a nozzle using a heat-resistant metal such as columbium. <P>SOLUTION: A nozzle N for a liquid rocket engine includes an annular manifold 1 on a circumference downstream from a throat T, the manifold making a cooling fluid introduced from the outside of the nozzle flow out along the nozzle inner face. By making the cooling fluid flow out of the annular manifold 1 along the nozzle inner face, film-cooling is carried out by the cooling fluid to maintain a sufficient heat-resistant function, and moreover, reduction in the man-hour of manufacturing or reduction in the cost of manufacturing is achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
