SAFETY DEVICE INHIBITING THE UNEXPECTED CLOSING OF A MOVABLE PANEL

There are known devices that include an obstacle which is inserted between a movable panel (2) and a doorframe (3), and which is supported by the movable panel and combined with the lock-controlling means. The aim of the invention is to provide an improved device which functions automatically and with certainty, and which does not require human intervention except for overriding same. According to the invention, at least one of the supports (5) is integral with the obstacle portion (5b), and said obstacle portion (5b) is arranged opposite the graspable portion (5c) of the support relative to the swivel pin of said support so as to elastically return the supported in order to move the obstacle (5b) into a safety position, and so as to provide manual force for actuating the lock in order to move the obstacle (5b) into a retracted position in which the obstacle is arranged within the body of the movable panel and enables the closing of the latter.
