<p>The purpose is to provide an optical component for use in amplification, an optical fiber amplifier using the same, and a fiber laser device. This optical component (AOP) for use in amplification is provided with: an amplifying optical fiber (30) containing a core (31) to which an active element is added, and a cladding (32) subjected to incidence of excited light for exciting the active element; and a loop propagation optical fiber (50) that causes some of the excited light for propagating the cladding (32) to travel along the loop thereof, and is joined optically to a cladding section (61) between one end (36) and another end (37) of the amplifying optical fiber (30).</p> |
