Use: in the field of power engineering. The technical result consists in increasing the productivity of digital processing and the reliability of the control of a cell of a modular distribution device (MDD). The module for controlling and monitoring a cell comprises a first controller (1), a second controller (2) and a third controller (3). The controller (1) is equipped with analog inputs (4) and discrete inputs (5) for connection to corresponding outputs of sensors for sensing the state of a cell (6) of the MDD. The controller (2) is equipped with a port (7), which is connected in series and to which a touch-sensitive screen (8) is connected. The controller (3) is equipped with discrete inputs (9) for connection to sensors for sensing the state of a cell (6) and discrete outputs (10), to which a generator (11) of relay signals for controlling the cell (6) is connected. The controllers (1), (2) and (3) are connected to one another by an internal local area network (LAN) (12). The controllers (2) and (3) are equipped with Ethernet ports, with redundancy, which are intended for connection to a station bus (15) and to a bus (16) of the digital substation process, respectively. The digital electrical substation comprises MDD cells (6) equipped with control and monitoring modules (17), sensors (18) for sensing the current and voltage of the main circuits of the MDD, two Ethernet LANs with buses (16), with redundancy, a complex system comprising an automated system for controlling an industrial process (19) and a complex system of relay protection and automation (20). The module for controlling and monitoring at least one cell is designed as mentioned above.
