<p>This image display device reflects light by means of an optical element, said light being emitted from a light source, and displays a virtual image that can be viewed by an observer. At the time of installing the image display device, the observer adjusts a positional relationship or an angular relationship between the projection light and the optical element by operating an adjustment mechanism. An observation adjustment member changes a position or an angle with respect to a visual line of the observer to the optical element, corresponding to the adjustment made with respect to the adjustment mechanism. Specifically, the observation adjustment member is configured such that the member is viewed as specified from the observer, corresponding to the adjustment made by the adjustment mechanism. Consequently, the observer can install the image display device at a suitable position by operating the adjustment mechanism, and making the adjustment such that the observation adjustment member is viewed as specified.</p> |
