<p>Disclosed is a method for locating an "affirmative response area" and a "negative response area" in the cerebral cortex, which method is used for accurately locating an affirmative response area and a negative response area in the cerebral cortex of the subject. The method comprises the steps of: (A) providing a detection apparatus capable of detecting real-time variation in cerebral blood flow; (B) creating with the detection apparatus a detection array composed of more than one detection point in a test area of the head of the subject, so as to monitor real-time variation in cerebral blood flow in the test area, wherein the test area approximately corresponds to the affirmative response area or to the negative response area in the cerebral cortex; (C) asking the subject a question and restricting the subject to only answering "yes" or "no"; (D) further determining the exact position of the affirmative response area or the negative response area in the cerebral cortex of the subject according to the active region to which the real-time variation in cerebral blood flow corresponds within a predetermined time after the subject has answered the question.</p> |
