PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment liquid for inkjet recording which is excellent in optical density (OD value) of an recorded object, resistance to markers, and storage stability.

SOLUTION: The treatment liquid to be used for inkjet recording includes a compound represented by a formula (1), and water. The compound represented by the formula (1) may include: a derivative of the compound represented by the formula (1); a tautomer or a stereoisomer; and salt thereof. In the formula (1), m is an integer of 2-6, and n is an integer of 20-40.
