<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure accumulating type EGR system that can supply EGR gas to an intake passage at optional timing even under an operation condition where the EGR gas cannot be recirculated by an existing EGR device. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure accumulating type EGR system 14 is composed by including an EGR pipe 15 for connecting between an exhaust manifold 9 (exhaust passage) and an intake manifold 6 (intake passage) and recirculating a part of exhaust gas 8 as EGR gas 8' from an exhaust side to an intake side, an EGR gas tank 16 provided to a midstream of the EGR pipe 15 to accumulate the EGR gas 8', an inflow side control valve 17 provided between the EGR gas tank 16 and the exhaust manifold 9 in the EGR pipe 15, a check valve 18, and an outflow side control valve 19 provided between the EGR gas tank 16 and the intake manifold 6 in the EGR pipe 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
