<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type image display device such that work to change a projection lens is easy and omission of cable insertion during work can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A projection type image display device includes: a projection lens for projecting an image; a housing having a lens attaching and detaching opening for attaching and detaching the projection lens from the outside; a lens cover for covering the lens attaching and detaching opening and provided to be openable and closable; control means; lens connection means for electrically connecting the control means and the projection lens; and a small opening for passage of the lens connection means. The housing includes a holding portion for holding the lens connection means extended from the small opening, and at least a portion of a cable extended from the small opening and held by the holding portion is in a movement locus of opening and closing the lens cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
