<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein passengers can not escape by prizing a car door when passengers are confined with the car door not opened after landing on a floor owing to a failure of a drive system of a door motor during control operation. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator includes a car 4, an elevator control unit 5, a door control unit 6, the door motor 7, an electric power source 8, a relay circuit 9, a door opening/closing device 10 applying opening force or closing force to the car doors 2, 3 from the torque of the door motor 7, a sensor 11 detecting door positions of the car doors 2, 3, a failure detecting unit 12 determining whether a failure exists in the door motor 7 based on the detected door positions and an opening command from the door control unit 6, and a relay control unit 13 for switch-controlling the relay circuit 9 based on the output of the failure detecting unit 12. The relay control unit 13 allows the relay circuit 9 to shut off a power supply line to put a securing force for holding the closed state in an unloaded state, when the elevator control unit 5 carries out operation for emergency and the failure detecting unit 12 detects a failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
