<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the shortening of a time to be required for program selection and also appropriate stream reception processing concerning a configuration for receiving and processing a stream where program information is divided into multiple packets. <P>SOLUTION: A program receiver 101 includes: a buffer 12 for temporarily accumulating packets which are received by a reception part 11 and outputting them in accumulation order; a packet discrimination part 14 for discriminating the packets received from the buffer 12, based on identifiers; and an accumulation packet search part 17 for searching the packets to be indicated by the designated identifiers in the buffer 12. The accumulation packet search part 17 searches program map packets which are received during a period from the reception of a channel selection indication to the reception of a first program-related packet. The packet discrimination part 14 discriminates a reproduction object packet, based on the identifiers which are included in the program map packets searched by the accumulation packet search part 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
