<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow pinch rollers that are lifted/lowered to be selected, and allow lifting/lowering of the pinch rollers to be readily conducted. <P>SOLUTION: A pinch roll lifting mechanism has: a plate-like member formed with an opening; a support member with the pinch rolls arranged at the other end, the support member having one end abutted on a guide section; a cam engaged with the opening and arranged in the plate-like member; a pulling means for pulling the plate-like member in a predetermined direction; and a spring for biasing the plate-like member in a direction opposite to the predetermined direction. The guide part includes: a first area that brings the pinch rolls into elastic contact with drive rolls; a second area which lifts the other end; and a third area that fixes the other end in a lifted state. When an operator moves the cam while the one end is located in the first area, the operator controls a drive means to move the cam along with the plate-like member to lift/lower the other end, and when the one end is located in the third area, even if the operator controls the drive means to move the plate-like member, the cam does not move to maintain a state in which the other end has been lifted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
