<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a coating agent such as a hot melt adhesive to form a thin film on the order of several ten μm and to smoothly apply the coating agent with satisfactory leveling with few man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: The discharged liquid coating agent is physically spread out, and the spread-out coating agent is applied to the surface of the coated material.
