In a communication network according to the present invention, wherein replicated data is diverted and transferred when receiving no acknowledgement for transmission data, the occurrence of replicated data is reliably suppressed with no burden being applied to the communication network. A node (501), when receiving no acknowledgement for the data transmitted to a node (502), transmits the replicated data to a node (504). A node (503) receives data from a node (505), and when determining that either one of the data or the data that has already been received from a node (506) is the replicated data of the other, the node (503) transmits a replication notice to the node (501). The node (501) identifies the node (502) as the source of the occurrence of the replicated data, and transmits a request for checking communication history to the node (502). The node (502) compares the communication history included in the request for checking with the communication history stored in a storage unit (523) and if it is found that the node (501) has yet to receive the acknowledgement, the node (502) changes a response process with respect to the node (501). |
