<p>The purpose of the invention is to ensure that even when a hook is not threadably engaged with a bolt, a spacer will not fall from the shaft portion of the bolt. In a spare tire carrier provided with a tubular spacer (4) that is used for positioning of a hook, a falloff preventing means is disposed between the shaft portion of a bolt (3) and a spacer (4). This falloff preventing means is configured such that: a stepped portion (32c) is formed on the shaft portion (32) of the bolt (3) such that the base side (32a) of the shaft portion (32) has a smaller diameter than the leading end side (32b) of the shaft portion (32); through holes (41) are formed on the spacer (4) so as to communicate between the interior and exterior of the tubular shape; a clamp (5) having intruding portions (54) which intrude into the interior from the through holes (41) is fitted over the outer circumferential surface of the spacer (4); and holding portions (55) to be caught on the stepped portion (32c) of the shaft portion (32) of the bolt (3) are formed on the intruding portions (54) of the clamp (5). The spacer (4) is prevented from falling off by being locked, by means of the intruding portions (54) of the clamp (5) fitted over the spacer (4), onto the stepped portion (32c) of the bolt (3).</p> |
