<p>Rubber mixture comprises: at least one polar or non-polar rubber and 0.1-150 parts per hundred rubber of at least one carbon black and 0.01-50 parts per hundred rubber of at least one ionic liquid and/or 0.1-150 parts per hundred rubber of at least one carbon black modified with at least one ionic liquid; and further additives. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of the rubber composition comprising modifying the carbon black with at least one ionic liquid with the aid of at least one solvent; and (2) carbon black that is modified with at least one ionic liquid.</p>
