<p>Disclosed in the invention are a transmission method and system for cross-ring services. The method comprises the following steps: configuring a cross-ring protection link between an inflow node and an outflow node for cross-ring transmission services, wherein the inflow node connects with the outflow node through at least two rings, and the cross-ring protection link connects the inflow node and the outflow node through nodes of the at least two rings; detecting whether both a working link and its corresponding protection link in one of the at least two rings occur failures; if both the working link and its corresponding protection link in one of the at least two rings occur failures, transmitting the cross-ring services from the inflow node to the outflow node through the cross-ring protection link. The invention solves the problem that single ring protection recovery method cannot be used to recover the cross-ring services in the prior art and reaches the effect that the cross-ring services can still be recovered when the working link and the protection link occur failures simultaneously during the transmission of the cross-ring services.</p> |
