METHOD FOR SELECTING A THRESHOLD IN AMPLIFICATION PROFILE CURVE OF REAL-TIME PCR

PURPOSE: A method for selecting a threshold from an amplification profile curve of a real time polymerase chain reaction is provided to more accurately select a threshold value for the amount of polynucleotide which does not use a reference curve. CONSTITUTION: Polynucleotide polymerase chain reaction for a plurality of samples including two or more of the same samples is performed. An amplification profile curve for signal strength values which are provided by probes is obtained by every sample. One threshold value is selected among the signal strength values. A threshold cycle value corresponding to the selected threshold value is calculated. A deviation value of threshold cycle values is calculated.
