<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical device capable of efficiently manufacturing the optical device. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an optical device includes: a step of arranging a plurality of optical elements 751 on a substrate 1'; a step of forming a translucent resin portion 761 covering the plurality of optical elements 751; a step of covering the translucent resin portion 761 with a resin material 771; and a step of forming a light shielding resin portion by curing the resin material 771 in a state where the resin material 771 is exposed. In the step of forming the translucent resin portion 761, a plurality of first portions 762 each of which overlaps any one of the plurality of optical elements 751 in xy-planar view are formed in the translucent resin portion 761.
