<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and lightweight vehicle seat with an armrest, for retaining the armrest at the optimal position independently of the position of a seat back. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle seat S includes a seat cushion S2, a seat back S1 connected to the seat cushion through a reclining mechanism R, and an armrest A1. The armrest A1 has an armrest body 11, and a stay 12 engaged with one end side of the armrest body 11 to support the armrest body 11.
