<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which noise is reduced while reflecting edge of an original image to a magnified image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus generates magnified image data which is target image data magnified. The apparatus comprises: a first magnification processing part for generating first image data which is target image data subjected to magnification at a predetermined magnification ratio; a second magnification processing part for generating second image data which is more blurred than the first image data by causing target image data to be subjected to magnification at a predetermined magnification ratio using magnification processing different from one for generating the first image data; a difference processing part for generating edge image data with difference processing between the first image data and the second image data; and a magnification image generation part for generating magnification image data with the first image data and the edge image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
