<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and easily detect deterioration of a phosphor. <P>SOLUTION: A maintenance method is provided for a radiograph detection apparatus 1 comprising a phosphor 10 containing a fluorescent substance which emits fluorescent light under radiation exposure, and a thin-film sensor unit 11 which is provided adjacently to a radiation incidence side of the phosphor and supported by the phosphor and detects fluorescent light generated in the phosphor. According to the maintenance method, at least one of a structure noise inspection, an MTF inspection and a dark current inspection is implemented periodically, thereby detecting deterioration of the phosphor. In the structure noise inspection, a radiographic image is captured and a change in pattern specific for the radiograph detection apparatus appearing in both the captured image and an image captured before is detected. In the MTF inspection, a radiographic image is captured by imaging an MTF chart, and a change in MTF of the captured radiographic image is detected. In the dark current inspection, a black image under radiation non-exposure is captured and on the basis of the captured black image, a change in dark current of the sensor unit is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
