The machine has electrical controllers directly arranged at or in a robot and transporting unit and connected with each other by a plug-in cable that is designed as data- and/or power lines. Each electrical controller comprises a passive cooling device that is designed as a cooling body or cooling fin or heat pipe. A residue switchgear cabinet incorporates a central power supply for the machine and an electrical fuse, and the data- and/or power lines and the electrical controller are equipped with individually molded plugs and bushings. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a construction kit for constructing a processing machine (2) a method for assembling a modular processing machine.
