PURPOSE: An electric clamping apparatus for securing the position of a vehicle part is provided to press and secure a vehicle part at high response speed within a small space by using a motor. CONSTITUTION: An electric clamping apparatus for securing the position of a vehicle part comprises a drive motor, a worm shaft(130s) which is rotated by the drive motor, a worm wheel(140) which is engaged with the worm shaft, a clutch body(150) which is coupled with the worm wheel and rotated together, a clutch disk(160) which has a plurality of locking portions(161) along the circumference to be engaged with a clutch protrusion(151) of the clutch body so that the clutch body and the clutch disk rotate together, a rotary shaft(110) which is coupled with the clutch disk and rotated together, a leaf spring(170) which provides the rotary shaft with an elastic force in the engaging direction of the holding portions and the clutch protrusion, and a compression unit(110x) which presses a vehicle part according to the rotation of the rotary shaft.
