<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for interfacing a microchip with a variety of types of modules. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed technology is usable as a sample preparation and analysis system for various uses such as DNA sequences, genotyping, proteomics, pathogen detection, diagnosis, and biological agent defense.
