<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a final solidification position and a final solidification shape in continuous casting to be more accurately estimated. <P>SOLUTION: A solidification state of a cast slab in the continuous casting is estimated with a heat transfer model using heat flux based on a cooling condition of at least a secondary cooling. The temperature distribution in a width direction of the cast slab is measured at a predetermined measurement position in a longitudinal direction of the cast slab, which is a pulling direction of the cast slab, with a thermometer 4b. Further, the heat flux distribution in the width direction of the cast slab of the heat flux is corrected such that the estimated temperature at the measurement position, estimated with the heat transfer model, and the temperature distribution in the width direction of the cast slab, measured with a temperature distribution measuring means, are conformed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
