<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pump unit which is made lighter and more compact, and which can prevent temperature rise in parts of an electric motor and a controller by cooling the electric motor for pump drive. <P>SOLUTION: A motor housing 6 which incorporates the electric motor 3 for pump drive and the controller 4 for controlling the electric motor 3 is fixed at a pump body 5 of a pump 2 which intakes and discharges oil. The electric motor 3 has a stator 27 which is fixed to the motor housing 6 and a rotor 23 which is arranged inside the stator 27. The rotor 23 has a permanent magnet 26 at an outer periphery of the rotor body 24. The pump body 5 contacts the stator 27 of the electric motor 3 directly or via a portion of the motor housing 6. An annular space 40 in which cooling oil 0 is sealed is formed at a portion at the electric motor 3 side of the pump body 5, and a magnetic body is mixed into the cooling oil 0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
