<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction in size of a production apparatus using a robot. <P>SOLUTION: The production apparatus 1 includes the robot 12 and outer wall portions 112a to 112d surrounding the robot 12 from its lateral sides. The robot 12 is a so-called a dual-arm robot which, for example, has a right arm 122a and a left arm 122b attached to both shoulders of a body section 121, respectively. The robot 12 is disposed near the outer wall portion 112b, with a back facing the outer wall portion 112d.
