摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidance method enabling acquisition and tracking of a target even when the target enters an over-the-horizon area to improve guidance accuracy for the target, as a conventional guidance system for a missile of a semi-active method or an active method has a problem that command guidance from a ground station enables movement to near a target, but if transmitted waves from a ground radar are over-the-horizon and reflected waves from the target are not obtainable, terminal guidance is disabled. <P>SOLUTION: If a first missile 9 mounted with a transmitter is launched, and a target 5 over-the-horizon is acquired by the missile 9 mounted with the transmitter by using transmission waves 110 of high power and wide beam width to search the over-the-horizon, launching of a second missile 2 having a transmission/reception function for command guidance is permitted.
