<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement for inserting a mulching sheet-fixing cord which enables a mulching sheet to be stably fixed even on an open field; and to provide a method for fixing a mulching sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The method for fixing a mulching sheet includes: inserting projections of a mulching sheet-fixing cord (Fig.3) into subsoil (10) from above a mulching sheet (7) spreading over a ridge on the field with the implement for inserting a mulching sheet-fixing cord (Fig.1); and making the laterally laid cord dig into the mulching sheet to be fixed. The implement for inserting a mulching sheet-fixing cord (Fig.1) is such that two pieces of sticks (2), (2) having equal-length, bifurcated, peaked tops are fitted in parallel at both bottom ends of a grip stick (1). The projections caught on the peaked, bifurcated parts of the sticks (2), (2) of the implement for inserting a mulching sheet-fixing cord (Fig.1) are fixed to both ends of the mulching sheet-fixing cord (Fig.3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
