Provided is a technology which assists in the selection of appropriate standard products regardless of a user's arbitrary input information relating to specification elements assessing product manufacturing performance and product similarity. A product information administration assistance device which determines standard product information on the basis of previous product information performance comprises: a product information storage means for storing performance information, such as previous order specifications, component configurations, component specifications, or costs; a similarity between components calculation means for computing similarity of performance components from product specifications; a component standardization effect calculation means for computing an effect when standardizing performance components within a range which is sorted according to similarity; and a standardization analysis effect display means for collectively displaying the standardization range and the standardization effect of the performance products.
