Upon receiving an instruction to start connecting with a second access point (102) during a connection with a first access point (101), the connection with the first access point (101) is broken, and then, a connection is made to the second access point (102), connection setting processing is performed, a profile is created for the second access point (102), and after creation of the profile, the connection with the second access point (102) is broken, and the first access point (101) is reconnected. Therefore, even after connection setting with the second access point (102) has been performed, if the invention is in an environment allowing connection with the first access point (101), it is possible to reconnect with the first access point (101) without failure.
