<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of reducing the brightness unevenness of an image photographed by using an optical system including a lens array. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus for obtaining the image, while isolating a viewpoint direction by using an imaging lens, the lens array, and an image sensor 13, as the lens array, one having a plurality of first lens parts S1 and a plurality of second lens parts S2 is used. A principal ray L after passing through the imaging lens and the first lens parts S1 can be made nearly perpendicularly incident on the light receiving surface 130b of each pixel P in the image sensor 13.
