<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight shell type centrifugal dehydration device, in which extraction of moisture from the heavy phase buildup in a bowl is facilitated to enhance the dehydration effect, and compression efficiency is improved to achieve a reduced load. <P>SOLUTION: In the straight shell type centrifugal dehydration device, the outer peripheral face of a rotary shell 21 of a screw conveyor 20 comprises a straight section 24 and a tapered section 25 tilting in a diameter-expanding direction from the straight section. The dehydration device has an inorganic flocculant-feeding path for feeding an inorganic flocculant to the inner peripheral face of the straight section 24 of the rotary shell. The straight section is provided with an inorganic flocculant-adding nozzle 109 communicating with the flocculant-feeding path and projecting into an annular space of the bowl and an orifice 108 for adding the flocculant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
