PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green gas emission allowance acquiring system capable of contributing to image forming apparatus makers and consumable supply makers for achieving a greenhouse gas reduction target and capable of highly efficiently acquiring consumable supplies, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same and a method for acquiring the greenhouse gas emission allowance.

SOLUTION: The greenhouse gas emission allowance acquiring system for inducing to acquire consumable supply based on a use state of the consumable supply of an image forming apparatus 1 includes: detecting means for detecting information of the consumable supply; number-of-print calculating means for calculating the number of prints printed with the consumable supply; consumable supply use state determining means for determining whether or not the calculated number of prints approaches to the number of prints of the maker's warranty; and information notification means, when it is determined that the number of prints approaches the maker's warranty, notifying a nearest consumable supply selling company of user information 101b2 and consumable supply use information 101b1 and notifies the image forming apparatus 1 of consumable supply purchasing information 101a1 and order destination information 101a2 of the consumable supply.
