<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-electrostatic colored resin particle (colored non-electrophoresis particle) which prevents occurrence of color mixing due to aggregation with an electrostatic colored resin particle (colored electrophoresis particle), particularly an electrostatic colored resin particle having a functional group, and has high dispersion stability. <P>SOLUTION: A non-electrostatic colored resin particle is composed of a non-electrostatic colored resin base particle containing a coloring agent and having a product of a reaction between a carboxyl group and an amino group on its surface, and a resin layer having a silicone chain formed further covering the surface of the non-electrostatic colored resin base particle. The non-electrostatic colored resin particle has an electric charge amount of 10 nC/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or less when a voltage of 10 V is applied for 60 seconds between ITO electrodes forming parallel flat plates with a distance between the electrodes of 50 μm, in a state of being dispersed in silicone oil having dynamic viscosity of 100 centistokes or less and with a solid concentration of 10 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
