Preparing a preparation, preferably a suspension comprising human cells, comprises: (i) contacting hair follicles with at least an aqueous buffer solution containing at least one enzyme to weaken the adhesion of the human cells to the hair follicles, (ii) separating the buffer solution by filtering to obtain a filter residue, (iii) at least one time washing of the filter residue, (iv) optionally separating the buffer solution by filtering to obtain a filter residue, (v) moving, preferably vibrating, the first or last filter residue with an enzyme free aqueous buffer solution. Preparing a preparation, preferably a suspension comprising human somatic cells, comprises: (i) contacting hair follicles with at least an aqueous buffer solution containing at least one enzyme to weaken the adhesion of the human cells to the hair follicles for at least about 5 minutes, (ii) separating the buffer solution by filtering to obtain a filter residue, (iii) at least one time washing of the filter residue with an enzyme free aqueous buffer solution, (iv) optionally separating the buffer solution by filtering to obtain a filter residue, (v) moving, preferably vibrating, the first or last filter residue with an enzyme free aqueous buffer solution to obtain a preparation comprising hair follicles and human somatic cells in enzyme free aqueous buffer solution separated from it. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the preparation prepared by the above method; and (2) a kit for carrying out the above method.
