The device (7) has a retaining sleeve (8), and a guiding element (9) for accommodating a drilling screw and for guiding the screw in a sleeve longitudinal direction (13). The sleeve accommodates the guiding element, where an end of the sleeve is designed for contacting an object surface and has a contact surface (11) for determining a drilling angle relative to the object surface. The contact surface secures contacting of the object surface perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The contact surface has connection elements e.g. locking elements, for connection with the object surface. An independent claim is also included for a method for positioning and guiding a drilling screw relative to an object surface.
