Provided in the present invention is an antenna, which comprises a first dielectric substrate having attached thereto a microstructure, a feeder cable connected to the first dielectric substrate, and a second dielectric substrate covering the first dielectric substrate. Also provided in the present invention is an MIMO antenna. When being received or transmitted by the antenna, electromagnetic waves must pass through the second dielectric substrate, thus increasing the distributed capacitance of the entire antenna. The increased distributed capacitance can effectively lower the operating frequency of the antenna, thus allowing the antenna to work well in low frequencies without having to modify the length of the feeder cable, thereby satisfying the needs for compact antenna, low operating frequency, and broadband multimode.
