A back light module (100) includes a backboard (110) and a light source (120), wherein the backboard (110) is provided with a first surface (111) and a second surface (112) opposite to each other, and plural protruding parts (113) are formed on the second surface (112). The light source (120) is provided on the first surface (111) of the backboard (111). At least some of the protruding parts (113) are placed in a high temperature area of a temperature distribution chart of the backboard (110). The protruding parts (113) of the backboard (110) can be used for improving the effect of heat radiating. A display apparatus is also provided, which includes the back light module (100) and a display panel (101).
