PURPOSE: A furan-based polyester copolymer is provided to replace a basic compound based on petrochemistry, and to use 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid based compound as a reaction raw material which can be originated from a biomass. CONSTITUTION: A furan-based polyester copolymer is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R^1 is respectively and independently hydrogen, C1-10 alkyl, C3-14 cycloalkyl, C6-14 aryl, C6-14 alkylaryl or C6-14 arylalkyl, R^2 is respectively and independently C1-10 alkylene, C3-14 cycloalkylene, C6-14 arylene, C6-14 alkyl arylene or C6-14 arylalkylene, R^3 is C1-10 alkylene, C3-14 cycloalkylene, C6-14 arylene, C6-14 alkyl arylene or C6-14 arylalkylene, m, n and p is a number of repeating unit. The weight average molecular weight of the furan-based polyester copolymer is 1,000-500,000.
