<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine and sewing machine control program, capable of increasing and decreasing a gain value for calculating a motor torque command value according to a driving state. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU of the sewing machine acquires a command value S of a rotational speed of a sewing machine motor (S11). The CPU acquires a detection value N of the rotational speed of the sewing machine motor by an encoder (S12). The CPU calculates a deviation ΔN between the command value S and the detection value N (S13). The CPU increases or decreases a gain value for calculating a torque command value T of the sewing machine motor according to an increase/decrease of the deviation ΔN in an increase/decrease proportion according to a driving state of the sewing machine (S14-S17, S21-S25).
