<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber winding density measuring device and a method which can enhance operation efficiency while eliminating measurement errors resulting from manual measuring operation by automating fiber winding density measuring means, and can prevent damage to a sample by allowing non-contact measurement, and to provide a method for performing process management based on such winding density measurement. <P>SOLUTION: The device for measuring the winding density of a fiber package wound on a cylindrical body includes: a package holding means (I) for holding the fiber package as a measuring object in a non-contact state to fiber, a weight measuring means (II) for measuring the weight of the fiber wound on the package with tare in the non-contact state to fiber, a shape measuring means (III) for measuring the winding shape of the fiber package in non-contact to fiber, and a data processing means (V) for computing and outputting the winding density from the measured weight, tire weight and shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
