<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily align a lip of a seal with a screw shaft in the peripheral direction, when installing a contact seal in an end in the axial direction of a nut of a ball screw. <P>SOLUTION: The seal 4 is installed on the nut 1 by fixing a seal cap 5 of fixing the seal 4 to an installation part 12 of the nut 1. Three recessed parts 13 are formed in different positions in the peripheral direction of an outer peripheral surface of the installation part 12. The seal cap 5 is constituted of an annular part 51 out-fitted to the installation part 12 and an inward flange 52. The annular part 51 is formed with three through-screw holes (through-holes) 51a in the same positions as the three recessed parts 13. The annular part 51 of the seal cap 5 is out-fitted to the installation part 12 of the nut 1, and the seal 4 is installed on the nut 1 by threadedly engaging small screws 7 by adjusting the through-screw holes 51a to the conical recessed parts 13, and the lip 41 of the seal 4 and the screw shaft 2 are positioned in the peripheral direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
