<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for electrolysis that has a high oxygen-generating potential and a high oxidation capacity and is excellent in stability, even when used at a high current density, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for electrolysis has an anticorrosive intermediate layer on a surface of a metal substrate and a catalyst layer on a surface of the anticorrosive intermediate layer, wherein the catalyst layer comprises tin oxide, antimony oxide and platinum. The electrode for electrolysis has a high oxygen-generating potential, a high oxidation capacity and excellent stability and thus can be suitably used as an anticorrosive, electrically conductive covering material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
