<p>Provided is an insulated wire, comprising: a collective wire (11) wherein nine metallic-coated copper wires (4), having unrounded cross-section contours, are gathered together, the cross-section contour of the whole being angular; a first insulation coating (1); a second insulation coating (2); and a third insulation coating (3). The metallic-coated copper wires (4) form a metallic coating (4b) on the exterior circumferences of the copper wires (4a) of tin, a tin alloy, zinc, or a zinc alloy. It would also be permissible to use copper alloy wire, aluminum wire, or aluminum alloy wire in place of the copper wire (4a). It is possible to reduce average loss in a wideband region from DC to high frequency.</p> |
