<p>The purpose of the present invention is, in the handover between base stations of mobile relay stations, to avoid overlapping of identification information of the relay stations, as well as to continue communication by mobile stations subordinate to the relay stations. The present invention is characterized in that before a mobile relay station moves between base stations and performs a handover therebetween, whether or not multiple relay stations having identical identification information will be present within a service area of a single base station is determined, and in overlapping situations, when modifying the identification information of the relay stations to have differing identification information, regarding the mobile station communicating with the relay station within the service area of the relay station of which the identification information is being modified, service to the mobile station by the base station is continued by handover from the relay station to the base station, and after modification of identification information of the relay station, by handover from the base station to the relay station by the mobile station previously communicating with the relay station within the service area, service by the relay station is resumed.</p> |
