PURPOSE: A composite structure for reinforcing shear strength and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent both ends of a plate-shaped structure from buckling. CONSTITUTION: A composite structure(S) for reinforcing shear strength comprises first and second base boards, supports, coupling grooves, and openings. The first and second base boards are formed in a plate-shape and are vertically positioned. The supports are formed on the top and bottom ends of the first and second base boards and are horizontally extended in a direction. The coupling grooves are formed on the top and bottom of the first and second base boards, and the first and second base boards are fitted to the coupling grooves. The openings are formed in parts of the supports.
