The teat (1) has a tube-part (2) forming a teat retaining space (16), and massage-strips (24, 26) diametrically arranged on each other in a region on a wall of the tube-part, so that wall thickness of the tube-part is enlarged by the massage-strips. Width of each massage strip is in the range between 3 mm and 12 mm or equal to 0.15 and 0.4 times of outer diameter of the tube part when viewing in circumferential direction. A set of grooves is formed on an inner peripheral wall of the tube part, and ends at certain distance from a teat-head (4).
